The primary criticisms levied are that he has a hitch in his arm motion (similar to his brother) and a weak arm.
I am of the opinion that while his arm strength is not great it is still decent and more than enough to play well in the SEC. I am not concerned about the hitch in his throwing motion because he still has a quick release and it does not affect his accuracy.
The main concern that I have seen is that he lacks proper footwork; he does not set his feet or step into a lot of his throws. Hopefully, some more practice and tutoring under Krag can improve this part.

Enough with the dual threat QBs. We need a pocket passer that Coach Krag can develop. I don't want any more JJ clones who can run but who can't pass or read a defense to save their lives.
