Yeah, you're happy now that he recomitted. But when all the silly rumors were going around that he was a silent to us and AU was playing dirty to get him, you were probably one of the ones ridiculing him and dogging him. If you weren't one of "those" LSU fans, then I apologize in advance.
And to all the reasonable fans in here, I commend you. Lord knows AU has been through the washer and back with other fans, the media, etc, and as far as the evidence shows, it's all been for nothing. I commend you for not listening to crazy rumors and allegations (the newest ones by memphis), and thank you for not jumping to conclusions.
Congrats on Hill if he signs with LSU, but it makes me sick to see a kid go a school where the fan base was trashing his name and spitting on him as recently as yesterday and this morning.

Isn't it a possibility that Auburn just ran out of scolarships, and he just wasn't as high on their board? Didn't they get two the other night, and I'm sure with the Championship game coming up and them getting more exposure they could get a few more they had not counted on from the beginning.

What?!? We're not the ones that just lambasted a 17, 18-year-old kid for ALLEGEDLY being silently committed to another school, something that nobody had any idea whether it was true or not. Mama finally decided to let him choose.
He had La el steaming the last month at how he was acting . When asked in orlando what was up with hill Collins responded " he is war eagle".
Even our paysites had him listed as a silent as did yours .

I'm not Memphis(ya'll are being too hard on him.The guy's great for this board)but I have heard most of the same things that he heard and have posted as much on this board.The stuff with his mother is a fact no matter what any of you think.Alos Memphis and most others that recieved word about his situation always said that Hill wanted to be at LSu but was doing what was best for his family.I never saw a post where Memphis said a diparaging word about Hill.In fact he refused to go into detail about the personal things the Hill family was going thru.It is also a fact that some of the other commits to LSU informed members of the coaching staff that Hill about the Auburn stuff and his recruiting of said commits.Trust me both of those things are fact and came from a person that is involved with the coaching staff at LSU.Hill got his wish to go to LSU and made the decision to recommit.That is what he wanted all along.Good for him.
For the Auburn guy trying to teach LSU fans about morality,get ahold of yourself.I personally have had countless coversations with Auburn fans in the last 2 weeks that have all heard the rumors of hill being a silent to them.Where they got it I don't know but if you;re trying to say it came from this board then obviously some of your Auburn brethren thought it had credence since they ran over to Auburn boards and spread it like wildfire.Look at you guys messiah,man who can do no wrong Jeffrey Lee.He had Auburn as the favorite and rising.Evidently he was hearing some of these same things as well or the other option is that he is the hack that every fanbase short of Auburn knows him to be.Get your shite together before calling out people.Look inside your own fanbase and ask them where the info came from.If it came from here then Jeffrey Lee is really a dumbass.A so called professional should not be getting info from a message board and running with it so much that he has Hill as a 70%(and rising)chance of being at Auburn and saying that Auburn leads.

I don't think the issue here is whether or not the information was credible. Our guys as well as your both seemed to think he was going to be Auburn bound, and for a while, Hill probably did too. Obviously that changed, however. The only thing I have issue with is how this board jumped down his throat, and started accusing him, his mother, and Auburn of some very nasty things. I think a number of people on this board would owe Hill an apology, Memphis included as he was very much a part of the bashing.
