Issue w/ ESPN's attempt at recruiting coverage

b/c of their direct involvement in the UA game, they completely ignore a perfect chance to evaluate tons of the best athletes in the country that are participating in a week long practice session at the AAA bowl. It makes sense from the standpoint that the AAA game is the competition, but you'd think that a legitimate recruiting service would not pass up such a great opportunity of in-depth analysis of many of the same kids they have ranked in their 150.

I agree 100%. Competition or not they should be covering it. Especially if they wanna be taken seriously when it comes to recruiting. The only plus to ESPN/UA was that they gave you lots of info for free. The AAA game seems to only really be covered by Rivals and they make you pay for almost everything on there.

I think ESPN's the weak link in recruiting coverage.
I value Rivals and Scout's evaluations on recruits more than what ESPN determines.

They actually had some good rankings this year that turned out better than Rivals'. Mike Davis, for example.
But pretty stupid not covering Army.

I agree that ESPN has flaws in their recruiting coverage and I really don't like Luginbill.I think that ESPN might not have an invite to scout the Army game.I know last year that Rivals didn't have a pass to the UA game. Both of those companies need to get over themselves and let true evaluating happen from all sources. One example will be that ESPN will boost UA players and Rivals will boost both bit Army players will be much more highly judged. One example will be the rankings of Shariff Floyd,Jeff Whitaker and Dominique Easley.Floyd is already ranked higher and should stay but no way that Whitaker(even though is having a good week)can have a bigger impact and week than Easley did last week.Easley was as dominant as any player has been at any all star game.
