Bro. Calm down. Seriously. Get an economy size can of jimmy unrustler. We have a lot of "open spots" left on the board because the remaining spots will be filled by elite talent. They typically wait longer in the process to commit or make commitment public.

For what it's worth, there are not as many open spots as it appears. You will be doing a river dance on signing day. That is the only day when it really matters. And on that day, the class should be one of the greatest assembled. Get your nanas ready bro. Utilize that can of jimmy unrustler. And...

Apparently you're missing the entire point.

More luck to you in the future.

And in regards to the 2013 recruiting class. Way underrated. There are some massive stars in that class. You will see several of them get significant playing time this year and do special things. Yes, we filled needs, but we filled them well. Don't sleep on the 2013 class. Many beasts and future beasts. I don't mind that many of them were way underrated. All that matters is how good they are, how quickly and how much they are developed, and if they stay healthy.

Good things.

Maybe I am missing the point you are trying to make. Apparently riseup missed it too at first. Why don't you state clearly what your point is. And there is no reason to get snippy with me. Same team. Friendly fire. Clearly I misunderstood your intent. Happens. Just as much your fault as it mine.

While I don't necessarily share the frustrations of some of our fanbase, I understand them.

Understanding =/= agreement.

It's easy to get excited over the prospects of this signing class but I temper my enthusiasm with guarded optimism.

In any case, I do believe that this will be another great signing class for LSU come next February - barring some complete offensive meltdown by the coaching staff this fall that could scare off some recruits. But ultimately I have faith in the coaching staff Les has assembled and am looking forward to the upcoming season.

Ok fair enough. Given so much idle time, too much of our fan base turn to the doom and gloom and THAT is frustrating lol. I know a little about how this class is shaping up, and there is no reason for the negatigers to come out. We have had our share of problems in recent years, but we have also had a lot of success even with QB issues and a stagnant offense, injuries, ridiculous schedules, etc. Once the season starts and LSU whips TCU, hopefully the negatigers will pull a 180.

I apologize for hitting you with that "calm down". Empathizing is not the same as concurring. If we build it(LSU juggernaut), we will all come.

Is there anything to do in Tuscaloosa, AL other than the university. In other words is there anything there that is so special that when recruits go visit they feel at home.

It's got a small town atmosphere with a decently populated city. The downtown area and the strip are good times. A large river runs right through Tuscaloosa and there's a large lake across the bridge in northport. It's a happy medium between urban life and rural life. The perfect place for a guy that doesn't want to be in a small town with nothing to do like an auburn or a larger urban area like Baton Rouge. It's a city that revolves around the university, meaning the athletes are rock stars. I have a feeling you were just trolling but that's my honest answer anyway

I don't think he was trolling. I imagine every major football player in a good sec program has the time of their life. How many bj's would I get for being LSUs 2nd string kicker?

I see a lot of doom and gloom. From an outsider's perspective...

When was the lasst time lsu didn't sign a great class? Worrying about Alabama on the recruiting trail is a futile effort, they're going to have a great class as long as saban is at the helm and no one is going to stop that.

There are two sides to that fence though. While Alabama has a great (and almost full) class shaping up, lsu has a great class shaping up with plenty of spots to fill.

+1
I am not worried about Shama recruiting, Shama players, Satan, 'Rivals rankings,' etc.

Why ?????????

Miles is 3-4 vs Saban since 2007. SIX of those 7 games came down to the final minutes.
Miles could EASILY be 5-2 vs Saban.

No team in the nation comes CLOSE to how competitive we are with those MulliGumpToothlessTeabaggingSkoalJuiceChinMFers
