The kid is already all about me, and he hasn't even stepped foot on a college campus. Before you rag on this about how Perrilloux said he was going to win 3 Heismans, that would have at least helped the whole team.

From Metoyer:
quote:

"I was looking at LSU," Metoyer said. "But they had the No. 1 receiver last year (Rueben Randle) and he only caught 11 balls the whole season. I don't know if he was overrated, but 11 passes, I need that in one game."

Sounds like Big 12 arrogance to me

Hmmm...a self-centered teenager who says foolish things at the wrong time in front of the wrong people. That's unusual.

yeah...we don't need bigtime athlete receivers who want the rock. that kind of kid with desire and confidence might be just what our offense needs to rachet up the intensity and raise the level of expectations and play.

Sounds selfish and ignorant...he obviously hadn't seen our depth chart.

Either that or ruin the locker room with his selfishness and arrogance...there's a difference between confidence and arrogance.

Because he was a true freshman who came onto a team that had two top tier wide receivers in front of him

I don't see what's wrong with what he said and I think it is kind of bad that RR only got 11 catches. I know whe already had LaFell and TT, but you would think RR would have gotten more playing time earlier. I think RJ Jackson had as many receptions.

thats ok too. If your offense is to only have 2 WRs participate, then he should have been redshirted, no?

No, we know we need him so why not get him some experience and he was on the field a majority of last year. We had production from more than a few guys at WR last year and Randle had some big catches and was a great downfield blocker. Now we are not wondering if Randle is ready but we know he is.

im no expert. But the Metoyer kid has a point. Whether it is a razorback fan or any other fan saying it, he has a point.

Plus Randle Dropped at least 3 passes I saw that he should have caught.

I love Randle he will be a first rounder. But Just because you are a five star doesnt mean crap. he has to go out an earn it. Plus we had problems on offense last year.(thats what I feel Trey was insinutating without saying it.)
