re: Anyone here had kid recruited in top 500

Wasn't offered by any D-1 schools but I was presented with the label as a preferred walk-on to La Tech and Texas State in 2009. I'm white and played slot and corner in high school so I didn't think I'd ever see the field and would basically just be a tackling dummy for every one else.

Decided to take my partying talents 20 miles away from my parents to Baylor and eventually walked on there only to shred my knee in my third practice.
