Maybe this game will make Randle want to come to LSU. I believe it was JR that was visiting tiger stadium in 2002 when we got waxed by Bama 31-0. Bama finished the season 10-3 while we finished the season 8-5. I think I remember him saying seeing LSU get beat was one of the reasons he chose to come play here.

Why should he come to a school whose fans bailout early, boo the players, and coaches who won't showcase his talents until at least his redshirt sophomore year.

Huh? This post makes no sense, there are quite a few true freshman that play right away at LSU and see some serious PT. Chad Jones and Patrick Peterson come to mind, I'm sure there are others.

i just dont understand why any recruit would not be extremely excited about earning a degree at lsu while playing football in the most electrifying stadium in the nation in their own state...i mean just the simple fact that lsu is amongst the best as far as facilities which continue to get better all the time...i just dont get it...maybe im naieve but sometimes i can't help but wonder if there is something going on behind closed doors

do you really think the academic standing of these universities come into play? nobody wants to PLAN on graduating.

If academics played a role, nobody would go to Gump-U

The gumps know they're not going to the big one. So they use academics as backup ammo? Sounds like Vandy fans when they lose. Actually do something in a full season and then I'll be impressed. Try 2 BCS titles in 5 years. Yall haven't done crap since I've been alive.
