#1 class without a QB = ?

Is this going to be viewed as successful if we fail to lure a reasonable exciting QB to campus?
Isn't it well known that the QB is the most important position on the field?
Or, are people placing trust in the "one year more in the system' belief on Harris?
I sure hope we get Haskins, or some last minute surprise.

And to answer your question sure it would be a little disappointing only from the fact that it is nice to have a steady stream of QB's coming into the program to hedge against having to ever play a young QB. However, the class would still be stacked with talent and would only make signing at least 1 QB next season a absolute must.
So in conclusion yes class would be a success, but would place more onus on next year's QB recruiting.

Etling and presumably the kid from Tulane are enough for this team next year. Screwed up that they didn't get Russo when they could have.

quote:No. You may be the 1st to come to this conclusion.

quote:Yeah, how dumb of people to believe that a QB will improve from his Sophomore to Junior year. We should defiantly trust in a true Freshman quarterback.

That's what I mean. Harris, then three back ups, preferably in this order: Etling, Jennings, and Tulane kid. If you get past the third QB, it doesn't matter anyway - even if Urban Meyer were coaching our QB's.

The Tigers still have Justin McMillan as well, so depth is on the roster.

Oh yeah. Forgot him. Thanks.
Let him and Jennings fight it out for 3rd string
