re: Standby generator just shut down

No need,its a slow morning. A lot of people have running generators so they're not bothering me this morning.

I know what generator you have. It is an air cooled B&S powered generator. If the engine isn't getting proper natural gas flow through the regulator then its going to have a field winding problem in the generator part itself or some bad circuitry. These last two things cannot be repaired,only replaced.
Natural gas powered engines never have carb problems. OT just runs that clean. I'd also take a look at the air filter to see if it may ne clogged.
BTW,I hear a bunch of people recommend synthetic oil for oil changes in these things but I'm a big fan of Rotella straight 30 weight for most all lawn equipment. It's all I fun in my commercial mover.
