Shade Cloth

Anyone in south Louisiana have a greenhouse and utilize a shade cloth during the peak summer months?
If so, what % cloth do you use that still blocks out a lot of heat but still allows a fair amount of sun for growing?
I'm thinking 70% is the sweet spot but just curious what others may be using in this area with good success. This would be going over a polycarbonate greenhouse roof.
Any help, thoughts, or suggestions are appreciated.

My Dad has had a large greenhouse in Baton Rouge for 50+ years raising orchids. When he and I built it, we painted all the panes with a single coat of high quality white paint. I think he’s redone it a couple of times since. Plenty of light still gets in, but it keeps the temperature down significantly. He just rolls it on inside, one pass with the roller.
