self-storage unit recommendations

Is anyone familiar with renting storage units? Is it becoming too expensive over time?

Definitely not a long term solution for storage needs.

Owning storage units seems to be a pretty profitable endeavor.

Up until a couple of months ago, I had 3 units rented in 3 different towns. All the same size. One was $105/month, on $85/month and the last one is $40/month. Location and demand drives the price. I just got rid of the most expensive one and I'm looking for a shipping container.
