Any suggestions for a diy coating to keep concrete from sweating, getting slippery? Or cost to have it done on new construction? Tia

Carport floors can get wet for several reasons. Water can wick up through them out of the ground because they are thinner than the house foundation and may lack a water barrier. Or, they may be colder than air and condensation forms. In the first case add a good epoxy topcoat or build in a barrier sheet. In my case condensation in the summer is the problem. The surface texture is rough and not slippery.

I've yet to see one of these coatings that didn't make the surface more slippery.
seems if you cover the pores in the concrete, there's no where for the water/condensation... etc to go.
