I installed an in-ground sprinkler in 1 day

It was a productive Saturday. Grabbed some irrigation tubing from Home Depot, a few fittings, and 3 Rain Bird 42SA rotors.
Borrowed the neighbors trenching shovel and buried the tubing and placed the sprinkler heads. Connected the tubing to the spigot outside and installed a battery operated timer. 30 minutes every 3 days. Total spend around $120
Yard of the month as soon as the HOA starts making rounds again.
Cheers.

Thinking about doing this for my garden area. I skipped the last couple of years, but before that I had a long hose hooked up and ran down to it in the back of the yard, and a sprinkler with a spike on it and set to do about 270 degrees. I've got a good way to tie it into existing water supply, and a big tiller I can use to bust up the ground and then bury it.

No pics but i do have some advice. By running the sprinklers off the spigot, you don’t get near the water flow you’d get by tapping into the main supply line from the street. So you’d need to verify your pressure and the flow rate (gallons per minute) by filling a known-volume container and timing it with a stopwatch.
The good news is that the sprinklers will allow you to swap out tiny plastic nozzles that will allow better performance in low-flow situations. Home Depot doesn’t sell them but you can get them off Amazon for a couple of bucks.
