Countertop recommendation

I have a rental property that is in need of some upgrades. I'd like to change the countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms without sinking too much money into the project. Looking for recommendations on a faux granite type material that looks decent and will last? Thanks!

I would consider an epoxy finish. It seems to be easy to DIY and durable. I’ve seen some people do a solid color and others paint like marble, quartz or stone. If you want a honed look instead of a glossy look you can sand it with wet sandpaper.
I’m going to do it in our kitchen for a small facelift before we remodel. I’m going with Z Counterform but there are other places to buy. One is Legarri and they have a lot of videos on YouTube.

Do check with local granite installers.
They typically have different grades and may suit your budget.

I would just go with a basic low grade granite. It's dirt cheap for the bottom tier stone.
