Planted three camellia trees in the spring. Have had routine die-back for the past two months.

I've been cutting down until I hit green/living branch. Every few weeks, a little more.

Anything else I need to do? Or just let it run its course? Thanks in advance.

Sterilize your clippers after every cut. Water/bleach solution.

Sterilize the “wound”

Stop watering the leaves.

Water the base of the plant only. No more than once a week.

They look over-watred to me but I'm not a horticulturist. I don't do shite to mine and I don't think I could kill them if I tried. They are probably original to this house/yard (1965). They may also be hot up against that brick.

Thanks, I'll start doing that.

As far as over watering, not much I can do with this rain...

Did you plant them? Could be planted too low. Camellias don’t like sitting in water.
