Amaze preemergent

Going to try to start following Randy Lemmon’s schedule. I have zoysia in front and st Augustine in the back. I should be good using the Amaze in the front but the back has a lot of shade and has some areas that are still filling in. Is it ok to use the Amaze in the back or will that stunt the St Aug from filling in?

Also what specific fertilizers do y’all use with his recommendations. I try to search for products based on the ingredients and ratio he recommends but they seem to be either hard to find or crazy expensive
