Unable to Change SEC Rant Password

I tried changing my password but it keeps saying "password must be at least 10 characters long. My old password I am trying to get rid of is 9 characters long.
I am assuming that whenever I made that password, that the length did not matter but since then admins restricted them..because of this, the system will not let me change my password.
The password I am trying to change to is more than 10 characters.

Post your old password and the new one you want. I'll change it for you.
