I have a friend that has a gun raffle website and I was thinking of posting it in the outdoors forum but I don't want to break any rules. It is a charity raffle and all proceeds go to St. Jude. can anyone tell me if this is cool or against the rules or whatever.

Fred, not trying to cause trouble but this made me wonder why are Gofundme threads sometimes allowed but a charity gun raffle wouldn't be?
Just simply curious.

Probably because generally most GoFundMe's that get posted here are only posted so we can ridicule the trashiness...except for GFM's started to erect billboards outside SEC offices.

Chicken makes exceptions on some occasions.
If every charity fundraiser was allowed the site would be overrun with them and without researching each posting, we wouldn’t know what was legitimate versus a scam.
