Power Hall

It started life as a girls dorm, then converted to freshman boys. It was next to some tennis courts and convenient to fraternity row but a long walk from everything else. It was air conditioned, newer and nicer than most dorms at the time. There were about six free standing two story units, connected to each other and a central lobby by a corridor. Two man rooms with a communal bathroom down the hall. It was the most sought after freshman dorm, so you had to get your request in early in the admission process. As a result the residents were maybe a little more serious and not quite as wild as some dorms, although it had its moments.
