Not seeing the “new” symbol by a post on Tiger Rant

I can see it on every board but the Tiger Rant. Is this a glitch or intentional?

Hey thanks for pointing this out TheWalrus. The difference between a malfunctioning feature and an algorithm of oppression is razor thin in these highly polarized digital times.
