It seems many have enjoyed this request...
If you know how basic skills, this isn't a difficult task. Here's how:
1. Open your image using the photo manipulation software of your choice.
2. Add a blank, transparent layer to your image. This should be "floating" over your background layer.
3. On this new layer, use the text tool and write the name of your company. "Soup Bowl Photography"
4. Change the transparency of that layer so you can see through the text.
5. Merge the layer down and save this as a new file.
VERY IMPORTANT: Save this as a NEW file. Otherwise you will over-write your original and you will not be able to undo it. Keep originals and keep editted, watermarked images seperately for internet display.
If you want an actual logo to paste over your images, I can't really help.
An unsolicited tip- If you are posting images online, I'd resize them, smaller. Again, save a smaller copy, not over the original. If someone wants to use your image for print quality, they cannot do that with lower resolution.
