Avatar gone, where URL goes in settings page it said, 'ADMIN: Change avatar'...

I haven't logged into this on a computer in months, so who knows when this even happened, but I just wanted to see if I could get a reason if it really was taken down by a mod.
It was my avatar for several years and certainly wasn't inappropriate. Now it was two real posters, including myself, that are active on this site. The other poster requesting it is the only thing I can see making sense, but we talk somewhat regularly.

Happened to me too after about 10 years of the same avatar.
Looked like there were new rules under where you add your avatar, check if it violated those. I think mine did.
