Am I forbidden from posting images?

I received a timeout a couple years back for an inappropriate avi image. Ever since I've been unable to post images from dedicated sites. Just appears blank after I copy and paste the url. Am I doing something wrong or has that privilege been taken away? Thanks in advance.

Chances are that you aren’t posting the actual url to the image but rather the host's landing page for the image. I get the same result when I don’t do that. For example, that's exactly what happened with your avatar and why it isn't appearing:
Try right clicking on the image and directly copying its url. The url you’re looking for would usually end in a .jpg or .png.
In the case of your avatar you also incompletely copied the url for the landing page, preventing you from just adding a jpg or png to the end of it to get it to load.
If you think I’m wrong then paste an example url of how you’re doing it.

If you wanted to just post the image in a thread the url you would want would be "hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/701/jacked-kangaroo-australia-embed-1507898217.jpg?resize=768" with "https://" added directly to the beginning to get this:
If you want that as an avatar you'll need to save the image to your computer and then upload it to an approved image host like Tinypic or Imgur
