Formerly Hidden Meadows is reopening on the 29th for Friday/Saturday/Sunday play.
Today a number of local golfers were invited to preview the course, and I had the honor of being the first to tee off. (Getting there 1st probably helped).
Commending the new owner, they put a lot of work into this. Rebuilt the clubhouse, one of its cool features it has 2 simulators set up inside.
Fairways are in good shape given the time of year, after the greens dried out the rolled smoothly. When they were wet the clippings from the moisture were clinging to the ball so it was a little bumpy early.
I christened the course with its first birdie, hit a 9 iron to 3 feet on one.
I didn’t get in a bunker, so can’t comment as to how they play, but they did put a number of new ones in.
