Been staying at Battle House and playing Magnolia in Mobile going to and leaving Destin. Thinking about going to Montgomery going to Destin and stopping in Mobile on way back. Is it better to stay in downtown Marriott or stay in Prattville Marriot? Stuff to walk to downtown? We will have kids age 2 to 10. Thanks for help

We always stay downtown at the Renaissance with the kids. Never stayed in Prattville but it looks like there are things for the kids to do there.

There is a mellow mushroom that the kids always enjoy going to and also the minor league baseball team has a nice venue if they are in town.

If you are staying in Montgomery, stay at the Renaissance. But if you have the young kids I'd probably stay in Prattville. There isn't much for the kids to do within walking distance of the Prattville Marriott. But there is lots of stuff to do in town (2-10 minute drive). Plus in Prattville you wont have to worry about getting your car broken into or any bullshite. Worst problem you'll have in Prattville is a long line at the outback.

Played Legislator yesterday afternoon.

What a fantastic course for only $40.

All I got is that hole out the back of the Marriott which I think is #17 on the Senator is a MF'er. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.

We stayed at Embassy Suites one time while there.

They had all you can eat Snow Crabs, I think my buddy Big Lou ate a whole bowl of clarified butter that night along with a dozen beers.

He was a pitiful site the next day.

Love the Prattville courses.

What's crazy about the 8 guys that went on that trip, only 4 of us are still alive and I was the oldest and 65 now.
