Golf School vs. Local Lessons

Been looking for golf school options that would be in my area (3-4 hour circle around SWMO). Found a 3-day school in Illinois, just outside STL.
Anyone ever attend a golf school in this area?
Anyone got an opinion on going to a school vs. just booking a group of lessons (range/course) with a local pro?

To your question, no. But I would think the golf school is going to be pretty immersive. If you are a thing or 2 away from a really good golf swing the school may be the answer. General overhaul the longer term with a local coach would probably be more beneficial.

What does the school claim to offer?

Don’t go to the school unless you’re a real high handicap. You’ll get much more out of something personalized.

I’ll be 54 in August and am about a 15 handicap. Started playing golf when I was about 30. Recently, there have been days that I’ve played much better and much worse than that.
Not looking to win club championships or play in the state amateur tournament. Just looking to figure out my swing mistakes and learn the practice drills that address my issues so that I’m more consistent and know more about getting myself back on track when something changes.
I mostly play at my home course with buddies or my son and in customer or industry scrambles.
For work, playing better golf means less time in the office! That’s what I tell my son as he’s fully into golf now and has two years left at college. If you’re good, they won’t leave you in the office when it’s time to make a scramble team.
As far as the 3-day school agenda goes it looks to be about 1/2 day on the range and a 1/2 day in the class where I guess they break down your swing videos and provide other instructions.
Starts with short game, putting, and then into long irons and woods. If you play rounds then maybe it’s in groups after the days lesson is finished. Don’t see course time as part of their agenda.
