Going to be in the Cleveland area during labor day weekend wondering if anybody recommended some courses to play in the area. Mainly looking for the nicest course possible to get on.

Big Met/Lil Met. They still around in the MetroPark? It’s been 20 years since I’ve lived there.

Yes they are. Big Met is fun and very playable. But not near the conditions of the others I recommended.

Very good!! It’s been awhile since I’ve lived there. I was a teenager skipping school for the MetroPark GC. I don’t recognize any of yours; mostly because I was a broke kid.

#2 is one of the greatest par 3's I've ever played.

Boulder Creek in Streetsboro.

Little Mountain in Concord

Shale Creek in Medina.

The Quarry in Canton is one of the best public courses in the Midwest. Or at least used to be, haven't been there in years.

Thanks for the recommendations. If you only had time to play one course you mentioned which one you pick?

I’ve played 3 of the four cuyahoga mentioned. I don’t think you could go wrong playing any of them. Sleepy Hollow is just a fantastic course. And yes, 2 is a beast of a par 3. If you play Sleepy “keep it under the hole” should be gospel. I would rank Fowler over Manakiki though, just personal preference. I think Mamakiki’s greens were really good when I played there.

Alright sounds like I will try to book us on Sleepy Hollow when it gets closer to the date. Thanks for the help.
