Talked to one of the maintenance crew there today. There had been a lot of talk about redoing the greens on Legislator, but from the conversation I had today it’s scheduled to begin in February. I didn’t hear about how long it will take.

Supposed to make them larger, which is somewhat crazy considering how large they already are. Could make sense I guess to have more pin locations given the number of rounds played on it.

Please lord don’t let them decide “more slope than The Judge” is a good idea.

I have heard January.

I have a good idea of what all they are going to do, unless money becomes an issue.

#4 green is getting pushed more to the right behind where the cart path loops. Probably make some changes to the cart path too.

#8 green is getting pushed down the hill more towards the #3 green. They havent used the far right pin location all year bc that green is too damn steep.

#13 they might move the tee box around a little. They cant do anything with that damn tree on the right just before the fairway. Army Engineers wont allow it.

I think that is it as far as course layout changes. I like what they did on the Senator with adding the water to 17 and the cart path on 18. But when they re-did the greens that course was miserable to play for at least a year.

Im going to talk to them about the tee boxes on the judge bc that course is just too damn long.

That green is rough. I’ve gotten a bunch of shots close, but only on the front pins. Moving the green back and to the right will need a fair bit of dirt moved. Take out part of the hill to be able to see the green from the right side of the fairway?

Makes sense.

Until I looked at LandGlide I didn’t realize how much they own there. It would be a real shame if beavers chewed that tree down some night.

I’m playing leg tomorrow. Will look at 8, I hadn’t really thought about them not putting a pin over there.

Greenville Wednesday, couldn’t get enough tee times this week it seems.

Of the things that the greens are lacking, slope is probably number 150. lol
