After i bought my ps4 i held onto my 360 because i still wanted to be able to play ncaa 14. Well i turned it on this weekend for just that and everything works but it keeps saying open tray. It is not reading any games.

So question is, can i just take the dvd drive out of another 360 i have laying around that had the rrod and pop it in that one? Simple as that? Any other suggestions?

I would start with YouTube videos and then if no fix, hit up Xbox support. If all else fails you can prob buy a new one for like 50 bucks.

What you'll want to do is open up your disc drive, (where the disc goes) and blow some air into the space that let's you see into the xbox itself. I think this sometimes works because dust or something gets on the laser that reads the disc, and by blowing some air into the space, you remove that dust.
