Deluxe edition besides the differing artwork/packaging the game comes in is a good investment if you are going to be playing or spending money in diamond dynasty. That is where the majority of the perks come in through packs/points etc. If you don't play diamond dynasty and don't care about the differing game case there would be no real reason for you to buy.
