grab another 4GB sick soon, I nailed the 12GB on a great sale online. 16Gb seemed like overkill at the time. If the need presents itself, it's cheap to get just 1 more 4GB stick.

Thanks for the advice on the 560TI. I don't do enough "hardcore" gaming to justify spending over $200 for a Graphics card. That seems silly to me and my wife would probably catch on sooner or later that it's not something I needed

I gotcha. The higher end i series graphics processing dedication offsets load from the cards GPU so getting mid-tier should do you good

just got back from best buy. Picked up a 560 they had on sale for $209. Thanks

The 560ti is going for that price.
Also the ivy bridge 3750k is not nearly as good as the 3750k.

Sounds like you should have done more research and could have gotten much more bang for your buck.

Pardon my ignorance, but is it even possible to get a 3750k without Ivy Bridge? I thought all of them were the 3rd gen ivy bridge???

and I'm happy with the 560..

no Ivy Bridge is the process technology used to create the 3750k.

You would have been happy with the gtx 260 fwiw and that sells for $100.

Where do you even find a non Ivy Bridge 3750? Everything I've found is all Ivy Bridge
