MW3 Freezing And Disc Read Error

I'm trying to figure out if it is problem with the game or my PS3.
Almost every night, as I'm playing MW3 it will either just completely freeze mid-game or kick me out of the game and back to the multiplayer menu saying "Disc Read Error"
I've never had a freezing problem with 2K12 or Skyrim (the only two other games I play right now).
Has anyone else run into these problems?

And yes, I have had this problem for the past two weeks, seems to be hit or miss. I think Pevy did as well, but not exactly sure, I know he was on BF3 for a bit for some reason other than his desire to play the game.
Im not buying a new disc, if it gets too bad, I may just call it quits until November when the next one comes out.

Sounds like a PS3 issue, have you tried googleing ps3 disc read error?

My bad, my issue is with the XB, pretty sure Pevy too

It's not that my PS3 won't read it entirely, just for some reason it will randomly kick me out of a game back to the MW3 multiplayer menu and say that.

Well that makes me happier knowing that it's the crappy game and not my system.

had this problem with black ops on ps3. I used a little bit of windex to clean the disk and i never had a problem with it again.

Might try that. Doesn't look like anything is wrong on the back of it scratch-wise. Was Black Ops the only game that did that to you? I'm hoping for anything that doesn't involve having to deal with the Sony people
