Got stuck in the Nether tonight. It probably took me about 2 hours to get out and running away from those giant white cows that shoot bombs. Im pretty sure I jumped out of my seat at least 10 times not expecting a bomb to go off

I went in yesterday and one of those bastards shot at me as soon as I entered and it closed the portal. Luckily my brother was playing and jumped in to reactivate it. It was be hard for me to go in with no one else in the world because I'd be afraid I couldn't get back.

Can you kill those things? Or will I get destroyed in the process? I built 2 nether portals but it takes me to the same place, for some reason I thought It would take me to a different area if I built a different portal.

Yes you have to kill them with a bow and arrow. I know the portal that Bruce built is the same way. It is near mine and they both showed up seperately in the Nether, but he can go through his and back through his and it seems to bring him back to the world through mine. Kind of wierd.

I remember watching videos from PC play and it seemed to always take them elsewhere in the nether, but on xbox they staack next to each other. I may have to go off way away from my house and build on to see if it still does that.

Ya because the only glowstone left in there that I can find is 500 blocks above lava.

Well I figured as soon as I was gonna get to the portal those things were gonna blow it up and I had nothing to re light it. So my theory was get caught on fire and jump through
