Bought my kid an xbox for christmas and madden 20. He loves the panthers so after downloading it and then a massive update we pull up the panthers and Will Grier is the QB.
I figured the QB would be cam, but did those updates also update injuries? Ive never owned Madden... pretty damn fun though.

yes
should be a setting to use default rosters somewhere though. Also, not sure about the new one but i think on the past ones injured players were still on the roster, just inactive. You could move them back to starting spots from the depth chart menu.

there's an option on franchise to toggle pre-existing injuries on/off
