I’m just getting into this game. I really enjoy it. I keep getting killed by the storms. I feel like I’m outrunning them more than enemies.

Don’t land on the far edges of the map until you’re more in tune with the storm’s movement. The more you play, the more familiar you’ll get with it. You eventually know when to move along without even really thinking about it.
A good spot to land is the train station just north of Pleasant Piazza. You can hire the NPC there and usually move up the mountain behind to claim the tower to let you know where the storm is heading.

A circle will show on your map to indicate where the next storm circle will end so you can get ahead of it if you need to. Running away from the storm trying to get the last bit of loot out of a vault is my kids and I's favorite activity.

Thanks that’s good advice definitely since I’ve been waiting to the end of the map to jump so I don’t get shot first
