Just started playing this in PVE-only, and frick it's a steep learning curve. I expected to do poorly, since I don't really play FPS games, and my fast-twitch gaming day are mostly behind me, so I've been good with dying and everything else EXCEPT that bullshite out-of-bounds sniper. Unmarked map zones that get you almost insta-sniped is rage-quit inducing.

Dont worry about the cheaters you come across in 30% of your pvp games. BSG has been committed to banning hundreds of thousands every month so they can buy a new account and do it again. Its good for business, you see.
I bet if you added up all the claimed bans over the years its north of 20 million.

I only play PvE to avoid that. That and I'll probably always be hopeless against real players.

Tarkov is a beautiful janky piece of Russian shite. I’d recommend checking out one of the interactive map sites to get your bearings and learn a few extracts. The maps you may find in raid aren’t helpful.

First wipe I played in a few years and I already had more fun then Arc Raiders (boring). Tarkov is a game that I'll keep coming back to. Just need to find more time to play.

I'm looking for people to team up with. I've been playing off and on since 2020. I started this wipe a bit late but it feels way sweatier than the past.
