alot better than say Jamaica. you can actually leave the resort and not feel like you are about to be shanked in an alley.
st lucia offered some nice scenery along with some rain forests and a waterfall. toured the whole island basically (27 miles from top to bottom)
the sandals resorts are awesome - all you want to eat and drink - get the butler room they set up a bar for you in the room to go with your 24 hour room service.
