I cooked a boneless butt on Sunday @ 235. Damn thing took forever and stalled at 150. Wrapped in foil and quickened the cook once it passed the 160 mark. It was really good but need to plan more in advance next time. Ended up being a 9-10 hr cook.

quote:

2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups white vinegar
Good pinch salt and pepper
Crystal hot sauce
Good pinch red pepper
The Snappy Tom (or can of V8 or Tomato juice or even a squirt of ketchup)
Little brown sugar
Little honey or cane syrup

Shake well and pour a bit over pork after pulled to your liking.

that's a pretty fancy swine shine. I would prefer clarified butter and apple cider vinegar plus seasoning depending on taste (salt/black pepper/cayenne/granulated garlic)
