My thoughts as well. Optimism is not the word I would use for this place. A lot of chefs need better work around here though. If they are getting fresh products, and hire a decent chef it has potential I would imagine.

The Chef is a nice guy. All ingredients are fresh I was in their cooler today. No I don't work there just have a job that I get insider info.

What is the menu pricing of this place, yes I know it is a tapist. Is it a place for a sit down dinner, or is it somewhere you could go after work for a few drinks and order a few items off the menu?

I think it's both really. The tapas is around 10 or lower. The entrees are priced well as far as I could tell.
