Red Wine Reduction Recipes?

Anyone have any good recipes for a red wine reduction? Have some duck breasts and plan to do a cream cheese, mushroom and shallot topping, but am looking for a sauce to add on top of all of that. Figured red wine reduction is probably the best thing but open to other ideas if someone has any good ideas!
