The end product is just okay IMO.

Agreed..........I'd rather eat at Tacqueria Corona.

If I'm forced back to Izzo's I guess I'll remember this thread and try the chicken nachos.

Izzo's isn't bad, it will do if I'm around Citiplace and don't feel like getting Lebanese at Albasha. But if I want a burrito without melted velveeta, I'll go to Tacos and Burritos Express.

A better burrito for a better price.

Way too pricey! I had some the other day and my bill was almost $10! Are you kidding me? Since moving to Baton Rouge, I must have been to 20 different eateries (not including the fast food joints) and you can certainly find ton of lunches or even dinners for under $7! Yes, under $7!! Cane's is probably the worst eatery in Baton Rouge along with Raoul's Cafe by LSU. If you want to pick your nose, don't do it where customers can see you! Yes, I saw you pick your nose then put topping on my burger which I rejected and got a refund!

tried one for first time today. nothing special. filled my gut and cost me about $8. chicken midemeanor. $1.25 for a spoonfull of guacamole should be illegal! skimpy on the meat. would not protest if i had to go back.

The pork is pretty good. Chicken and steak, not so much.

I find Izzos to be good in a pinch. (I'm often in a pinch)

They have shrimp now, but they grill the shrimp on demand, which is kind of cool and odd at the same time. Take advantage of the fresher ingredients like pico and cilantro.
