BBQ is a much bigger thing in KC than steak. That being said 801 Chophouse. Stock Hill, and Pieront's at Union Station are popular steak places.

Three solid suggestions above. Stockhill and Pierponts probably our two favorite spots for steak. Have heard great things about 801, never been. Capital Grille usually pretty solid. Ocean Prime another high end chain that gets good reviews, very pricey.
