How bad will traffic be today?

I'm leaving Lafayette at 4 to head to NOLA. I'm wondering if I-10 or 90 would be the better choice.

I-10 is underwater from North BR through Belle Chasse. I would avoid.

Ive heard I10 has slowing near the spillway for rubbernecking, otherwise unaffected so far.
