Any word on I-20 west being closed

I plan on driving from Atlanta today to Monroe,and keep hearing about Vicksburg being flooded

I20 was open last Friday in Vicksburg

I 20 is open and it is not going to close

The flooding in V-burg is in the low lying areas away from I-20. If you travel over the Mississippi River bridge there that much, you'll definitely how much more water there is, especially on the Louisiana side by Delta and towards Tallulah.
ETA: The crest is supposed to be Thursday, so hopefully the worst is over soon.
