I never said that the fact that his friends didnt say stop was a legal excuse. Just that I had a bit of sympathy for the situation he got himself into. They were drunk, had just won, and they are complete dumb shits. They did not physically injure the passed-out LSU fan.

The SEx offender Law was put in place to protect mainly those who were the victim of a violent sexual crime(rape, forceful entry, underage kids). I do agree that the elements of the original law(s) are present in this case. I just think this "prank" (it is a prank) is not the main focus of the law.

That being said, I hope he gets a huge punishment, fine(s), community service(maybe at a sex offender counseling service), no sex offender registry.

He should also move from Alabama as he is not the good kind of celebrity there.
