1. Trade proposal self-destruct- when trade intendee opens and views a proposal, he has 1 hour to accept or the trade will self-destruct...(forces a choice, also let's proposer know it was viewed)

2. 3rd party trade veto(program)...no bias commish, no gang-ups....analyzes to make sure within acceptable parameters

3. pre-season FFB....before you actually draft, there are preseason games within your league that allow you to add players for the week (everyone's a FA until taken)...you might add Cadet, Stills, and Taiwan jones because you know that they will play for 3 quarters or something....doesn't count for record or money....just Titles.

what would draw you to one over another?

This addresses the biggest problem in my league.

Yes, one of my biggest pet peeves are unanswered trades.
No, because I dont play in leagues where idiots are given veto power
No

I like the idea. Not crazy about only an hour, but I do like the idea of an expiring trade to some extent.

Again, I like the idea, but I have a hard time envisioning this working out well.

the idea behind this that it would make that sites leagues active first before other sites really start up FFB.

Die-hards will jump on earlier to play, then bring the tertiary players with them (hey, join my league).....right now, most say "we don't draft till week 4, I'll sign-up before the draft"...or since there's nothing really going on, most don't even check the league board daily after they sign up in July.

By having activity first, and nudging people to pick players to start, gets the competitive juices flowing earlier, which I believe will pull more FFBers to the site that offers it.

Good point. Might help people refrain from drafting in mid July for something to do, too.

yeah, didn't think of that.

maybe preseaon play wins draft order....or like the NBA lottery, you get balls to place in the randomizer to select a certain position...."putting all my balls on the 7th spot....I think I can get Morris there"

I think it would be cool having 3-way trades or more inside of the traditional 1:1 and hoping the third team involve doesn't back out.

Would love something like this. I'm tired of having to feel like I'm pestering people in my IRL leagues because not only do they not respond to it on the site, they won't even answer a text message. All you need to say is, "No thanks. Not interested in making a deal."

I dislike this one. I'm on the side that unless it's obvious collusion, you don't veto. If both players feel they are making their team better, who is someone else to say otherwise?

I wouldn't spend my time on it, but I can see some liking it.

commish could turn off the 3rd party veto if a case is made I guess.....but the 3rd party system has no bias, and affects everyone the same....Pierre Thomas for Spiller...sorry, not happening right now...try next week when new projections come out.

even if it gave you a perceived advantage of picking draft order?

nice ideas here...
1) I cant help but think this one is meant for me-haha
2) The site that we ran a few years ago did have a "Trade Analyzer" tool...thought it worked pretty well. but of course it really boils down to the projected stats that support it -- & perhaps more importantly, how much both parties 'trust' it
3)meh...i see your thinking but it might have trouble gaining traction in most groups/leagues. i do like the draft lottery piece of it. Cant stand just the old random draw for redraft leagues. one thing that worked for us as far as draft order was putting the non-playoff teams into a 'toilet' bowl bracket where the winner gets 1st pick. Keeps those guys active.

If it meant something, I'd be more inclined to do it, but I wouldn't even want my draft order selected that way. I like playing drinking games for that.

I could see it being fun in a league with 12 people that are all hardcore, but I'm just imagining it in some of my leagues and it would be a train wreck.

I also would like to implement an 8 team with 12 team feel.....or a scavangers league concept.

Autodraft dummy teams and those players off limits for the season....8 team 12 man feel...no gaudy teams

Scavanger league is the top 5 rounds(50-60) of players are off limits....basically forcing teams to draft royster or Sydney rice to make rosters.

So legit Who do I start isn't Jamal Charles or Matt forte......its .Michael bush or bilal Powell?
