not really. I still dont think I'm a playoff team. Gonna need to draft wisely. I'm actually planning for the future though, and if i happen to make the playoffs then cool.

Here's a list of players that are available for nothing but a late round pick swap. Some are established starters for those looking for stability, and some are prospects that got a taste of the big leagues last year.
C Kurt Suzuki, OAK:
-Among all catchers, he was 11th in homers, 4th in RBI, 3rd in runs, and 1st in SB-CS in 2009. Ranked as the 6th best fantasy catcher by CBS.
3B Kevin Kouzmanoff, SD:
-Was 12th in homers and 8th in RBI among eligible 3B in 2009, and these numbers could go way up if/when he gets traded by the Padres this year.
2B Howie Kendrick, LAA:
-Will finally get to start full time this year after hitting .351 in the second half of the season last year. Power has finally started to develop and he's still only 26. Ranked as the 12th best fantasy 2B by CBS and hasn't reached his full potential yet.
SP Brandon Morrow, TOR:
-Morrow has the potential to be a Strong #2 SP for any team, although he hasn't proven anything yet. He's healthy now by all reports I've read, and is expected to open the season in the Blue Jays rotation. Sky is the limit with this kid.
SP Homer Bailey, CIN:
-Bailey added a split-fingered fastball to his arsenal midway through the season, and it resulted in him going 6-1 with a 1.70 ERA over the last month and a half of the season. It looks like he's finally figured it out.
SP Mat Latos, SD:
-Latos is the top pitching prospect in the Padres organization, and he'll get his first full season under his belt this year for the big league team. He's only 22, but expect him to contribute to a fantasy team playing in a park like Petco. Latos would be a great pickup for someone that is looking to stockpile raw talent.
Others to look at include C Ryan Doumit, SP Tommy Hunter, SP/RP Justin Masterson and Marlins closer Leo Nunez.
