Look, there was no rule in place. We haven't had to deal with this in TDBA. This league is a carbon copy with similar owners, but it looks like in this league we need a date.
I would propose beginning after summer league play. That gives everyone a chance to see these guys in action.

Dates never work. The few times I set draft dates in TDBA I got messages from everyone to start early. I asked we wait for league to be reset this year for draft to start, that wasn't honored either.
The inmates run the asylum, especially with draft. I really don't fault Daryl here.

I think comments started in TDBA almost immediately after the actual NBA draft. I think the end of summer league is a fair date moving forward.
