Scoring issue on yahoo with the Cincy DEF/ST

Anyone else have the Cincinnati Bengals DEF/ST in yahoo? For some reason, yahoo took away the 6 points for the defensive touchdown on the fumble recovery. There is no explanation of where the points went or why they are taken away.
I'm also in an NFL.com league and they give credit for the TD still, FWIW.
I'm so confused!
Anyone have any idea why this happened???

This has to have affected someone else. Even espn.com gives credit for the TD.

Technically it wasn't a fumble recovered from the other team...the fumble return that scored was initiated by a Bengal player.
I still think it should count, but I can see why they ruled it that way.

But why do all of the other sites count it? The TD has to be credited SOMEWHERE. It was still scored by the DEFENSE. In your breakdown they lose credit for the fumble, not the actual TD.

That's the issue, they took it off after it spent the entire afternoon/evening being on there. I hope you're right though.

Because it hasn't happened yet. The guy I'm against still has players tonight.
And total points matter $-wise in this league. So, it could matter later down the road as well.

I know ths may sound stupid and believe me it does, but my only reasoning would be after the ball was recovered by the defense the first time the Bengals are technicaly the offensive team now.
Defensive rules state that a ball must be scored by a defensive player and since it was fumbled again and recovered by Newman that would make Newman an offensive player which in turn would only credit Newman for the touchdown not the defense as a whole. Also, Newmans recovery shouldnt count as a recovery since the "offensive" player had the ball on the same team. Kinda like when an offensive lineman picks one up and scores.
Stat corrections come out Wednesday so I'd wait till then. But I think it should be a TD and 1 fumble recovery by Cincinnati Defense.

There was never a stoppage of play though. The defense was still on the field and the defensive player scored the touchdown. You can't magically become an offensive player in the middle of a defensive play without said play ending on a whistle.
Every other site seems to give the Cincy DEF credit for this score fantasy-wise too.
And this was a correction, they originally scored it to the Cincy DEF/ST...which is even more of an insult.

this make's no sense.. If this was true, no defense could ever score, because once they gain possesion they "become the offense"..Uh...NO.

Fumbling the ball the 2nd time and recovering during the play discounted the defensive TD. Recovering your own fumble made Yahoo score them as an offensive TD.

Like I said.... NO. The defense scored, they should get credit. They do not "become the offense" once they gain possession.
