I missed the start of my draft so Yahoo autodrafted my first 7 rounds and took all hitters. I'm 1st or 2nd in all hitting categories and dead last in all pitching.

16-team 5x5 format (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG) (W, S, K, ERA, WHIP)

Proposed trade: Betts and Devers for Sale and Manaea

Team:
Realmuto
Moreland
Cozart
Lindor
Sano

Michael Taylor
Andujar

Devers
Bader
Mcmahon

Bumgarner
Bauer
Jansen
Giles
Luis Castillo
Alvaredo (Rays Closer)
Alex Reyes
Robert Osuna

DL: Britton, Salazar

I’d try to move anyone else other than Betts first

Betts is the driving force behind your offense. If you trade him away, you’ll slowly creep your way back to the middle of the pack. If your pitching can climb back towards the middle, well, you’re back where you started.

My advice would be to patient. You get Bumgarner back today and Britton pretty soon. That will help. Once Britton shows that he’s healthy, move him or another closer for a lower tier 2 or tier 3 pitcher. Someone will be looking for saves.

You also have three 3rd base options. Moving one of them for a good pitcher shouldn’t be difficult. You don’t need to move Betts. Deal from your strength and a position you can afford to move someone from. You don’t need to land an ace.
